In 1991, the Ron Perelman-owned New World had announced plans at Cannes for a Punisher sequel and a She-Hulk movie starring Brigitte Nielsen; a Power Packpilot, based on the Louise Simonson and June Brigman series, was filmed. But New World was withering, and in October Perelman sold most of the company’s operations to Sony. The Punisher 2 and She-Hulk were never filmed; and Power Pack went unsold.
