"Tension often came from editorial as well. Cable with spectacles was a big struggle, Harras did not like that I put Cable in specs and a suit. I stressed it was important to show a different side of Cable. But there were definite snark between writing of plot and the script…. The most glaring is in X-Force #3. Looking at current DC ‘young and sexy’ transformations, I’m reminded of Bob Harras thickening Cable’s hair line to appear more youthful.”
